Whether you have a large allotment or just a few planters, growing your own fruit is satisfying as well as healthy.
Northern Polytunnels’ fruit cages have been designed and developed in our workshop to accommodate the varying sizes of fruit beds.
For greater convenience the structure can be bought by piece or as a standard sized kits, accommodating any requirements.
 
Each individual component is manufactured from 25mm (1”) steel tube with a 1.5mm wall thickness to BS2989.
 
The Black side netting for fruit cages is a high strength 2m (6’6”) wide rigid polypropylene net with a 19mm (3/4”) square mesh used by commercial growers, available in a range of widths from 2.5m (8’2”) to 20m (65’). Nets are attached to the framework with PVC ties, which allows the net to be removed during the winter months.
 
Doors are supplied with hinges, special door fasteners and individual door upright with keyhole fixing brackets. This allows you to site your door at any point on your fruit cage perimeter, thus guaranteeing the best access.
