BIG BORE TUBE
All our range now comes with 1-1/4" (32mm) diameter Z35 structural steel tubing. We also have a new super strength kit.
2 PIECE HOOP CONSTRUCTIONS
All Northern Polytunnels are manufactured using a proven 2 piece hoop, as on our commercial range, unlike our competitors who use 3, 4 or even 5 piece hoops.

ALITRAP FIXING SYSTEM
We've utilized our commercial aluminium and PVC fixing system for our aluminum door, doorframe and base rail. Giving commercial quality all round.
METAL PLATE TIMBER JOINTS
On our door and door frames we are using our new corner fixing plates for extra strength and easier assembly.
HIGH SIDED DESIGN
All our structures have 1mtr straight sides with 6ft working height within 1ft 6" (457.2mm) at each side.
STRONG COMMERCIAL TYPE BRACKETS
Our hobby brackets are the same design as our commercial range, which have been developed over the last 40 years with proven strength and durability.
CLOSER HOOP SPACINGS
We offer either 5ft 6ft hoop spacing's on all our range of structures for extra strength.
HEAVY GAUGE FOUNDATION TUBES
Thick wall, hot dipped galvanized tubes for longer life and a stronger structure.
LARGER TIMBER SIZES
Tanalith Treated we are now using 3" (75mm) x 1-1/2 (40mm) timbers for our door frames, base and side rails and 1-1/2" (38) x ¾" (19mm) double row fixing battens.
All our range now come with 900mm wide door frame as standard.

STEEL TUBE SPECIFICATION
Galvanised both inside and out, meets and exceeds Z35 construction standards.
Supplied in only two sections for strength. 50mm O.D for 18ft and 21ft wide structures and 60mm O.D for 24ft, 27ft and 30ft wide structures with a 1.5mm wall thickness.
1.8mm thickness with 275g/m2 hot dipped galvanised zinc coatings.
British made for the UK climate. 720 gauge, Anti-drip (anti-condensation) 5 year UV guarantee. UV ‘open’ polythene allows UV light to enter, which has many benefits to most crops.
Manufactured in-house. Heavy duty zinc plated with JS500 coating for extra long life.
Heavy duty galvanized finish with 3.25mm wall thickness.
INTERNAL SHEET TENSIONING SYSTEM
